This placement would suit... Somebody with an outgoing nature, a team player but who is happy to get on with things by himself / herself. And who wants to get out into the African wilderness, learn about conservation and wildlife management and experience life on a private game reserve.
The Programme - a wonderful 8 week programme spent gaining bush and wildlife experience. Forms the first 8 weeks of the 10 week programme. Numerous off property visits are made and we bring a birding and a carnivore expert onto the reserve for these specilaiast areas. A conservation project is undertaken by each roup which has practical benefits to the reserve.
We also spent time assisting at a local school / aids orphanage and visit a local township. Time is spent at an animal rebilitation centre / animal orhanage and we chill out on the Indian Ocean coast in Mozambique for some R&R time. Age is no barrier and we welcome applicants from those looking at taking time out from work.
