This placement would suit... people looking to ?monkey around? with Thailand's native Gibbons at a rescue centre that aims to rehabilitate them and reintroduce them into a natural habitat. The Gibbon Rehabilitation Centre, which borders the stunning jungle of Phetchaburi, houses groups of gibbons that are ready for rehabilitation or to go back into the wild. The gibbon is an endangered primate and at the centre the gibbons have the chance to live on large natural islands, where they can slowly adapt to life back in the trees. On the islands, over 50 gibbons can be accommodated, a far better alternative than living in cages.
