	This placement would suit... someone with a sense of adventure who wants to have a high quality, well supported, worthwhile volunteering experience as part of their travels in SE Asia. Cambodia is fast becoming one of the hottest destinations in South East Asia. This beautiful and friendly country is now moving on from its troubled past and the Volunteer Cambodia programme will give you the opportunity to become fully immersed in Cambodian life and culture. All of the placements are in or around the town of Siem Reap, the gateway for the World-famous temples of Angkor Wat. All applicants are interviwed and BUNAC will then liaise with our local co-operator to arrange your placement depending on your interests and experience and the needs of the community at the time of the programme. Most allow flexibility and variation. Placements are unpaid and last for 12 weeks with a three-day welcome orientation on arrival. Accommodation is included as part of the placement and is covered by the programme costs. However you will be responsible for arranging your own meals. The accommodation will be in a local guest house (a small, independently run hotel).
