Do you want to play your part and help improve the state of the planet?

Changing Worlds can offer some challenging and exciting conservation projects around the World.

We are looking for volunteers with a deep interest in environmental issues and who are prepared to work hard to help improve the current crisis.

This would be of great interest to those who are intending to move in to this area for their future careeror who have an intense passion to ‘do their bit’

You could work as a volunteer in a zoo near Brisbane, Australia - not a soft option - indeed far from it as the work is all hands on, working long hours in the sunshine. It’s not simply about cuddling koalas all day either. These animals need feeding and watering, their enclosures need cleaning and re landscaping, the visiting public need educating! If you are the kind of person who loves animals then this is for you!

In Madagascar the rainforest is being destroyed at an alarming rate. This has huge impacts on the environment, the animals and the people who live there. You can work side by side with the villagers helping them try to arrest this degradation through reforestation, construction of water wells and reservoirs and building of information centres to educate the locals.

In Southern India the region of the Palni Hills is under threat from logging. Ideally the local conservation group need volunteers to support them who have some practical experience in ecology and land management. This would suit a research officer or a recent graduate in this field.

In Kenya you can work side by side with the Wildlife Service in the Masai Mara National Park - an exciting possibility for those who want to experience the real Africa with an exciting backdrop. No previous experience required but you do need to be keen to learn.
