Do you feel the need to make a positive impact on the environment? Our conservation projects put you to work in stunning locations with local people who carry out wildlife conservation, environmental conservation or historical preservation. Experience is unnecessary, just bring enthusiasm, self-reliance, patience and an open mind - as conservation also means doing the vital maintenance work to keep your project running.

We have jungle and rainforest placements in Costa Rica, Ecuador and Honduras, or you could work in a botanical garden in Brazil, Bolivia or even Ireland!

Conserve rainforests throughout Australia

This placement can be done for just one month or up to six months, with the chance to move between several projects or concentrate on just one. You could visit up to six different states and with time off between placements, there are plenty of opportunities to travel independently alongside this conservation venture.

Activities can range from planting trees to preserving river beds. It’s an ideal opportunity for gap year students to visit this popular destination and learn more about animals and geology often unique only to Australia.
