This placement would suit... Volunteers interested in animal welfare as well as Bolivian culture. Spanish lessons can be arranged for you on request.

A fascinating six weeks with Quest Overseas working in the heart of the Bolivian rainforest looking after indigenous animals that have been confiscated from illegal trading operations. Volunteers are needed to work with the animals and help rehabilitate them back to health and prepare them for release into the wild. Pumas, jaguars, ocelots, monkeys, parrots, tucans and hundreds more!

Inti Wara Yassi - the 'old' land

As a volunteer you will be given your OWN wild animal to look after during the project. You could have a spider monkey round your neck, a parrot on your shoulder or even help walk one of the pumas which have heaps of energy to burn! This is a spectacular hands on project where you MUST have a buzz out of working closely with animals. Ideal for students wanting to go onto to become a Vet!

Ambue Ari - the 'new' land

You'll live in the depths of the jungle helping to develop the new land ready for the movement of all the animals from the old land. Teams this year built a vet centre.

There are spaces left on the team departing on 27th June 2006 so do contact the office for more information or fill in an application form online. We regularly hold open days at our offices in Haywards Heath, if you'd like to come along for one, please do not hesitate to give us a call!

After the project there is the chance to take part in an amazing 3 week expedition taking in the highlights of Bolivia and culminating in the Inca trail! This is an optional add-on at an additional cost.

Why Quest Overseas?

Quite simply because we have the best reputation in the gap year market. We are second to none when it comes to safety, value for money and downright fun! We've never had a complaint and we aim to keep it that way - if you'd like to speak to a past student they would be more than happy to bend your ear on everything you could get up to!
