	This placement would suit... Ambitious student architects or designers who want to gain experience in an ultra-modern setting. This project is based on the beach road in Green Point in Cape Town, a fashionable and rapidly growing location in this beautiful city. The practice you will work with has a superb reputation for innovative design of high-quality residential buildings at the higher end of the market. Their designs are renowned for their classical simplicity and the use of light, space and natural materials. As with all our Work Experience placements, this placement is tailored to suit your specific requirements to ensure you gain the maximum benefit and experience. We’ll have detailed discussions with you to ascertain what you’re looking for, then we’ll tailor the programme for you. Architecture The practice produces an unnusual style of architecture. Many of the houses are built on steeply gradiented cliff-sides and the technical aspects of building in this unusual environment are complex and fascinating - you'll learn a lot on this placement! You'll be shadowing and observing the architects and will be positively encouraged to input your own ideas. There will be site visits, as well as CAD work. Interior design The interior designs are equally stunning and again your input will be warmly welcomed as you work with the company's interior designers. The working environment is very relaxed and comfortable, the offices are, as you would expect, light and airy, large, modern and very spacious.
