	This placement would suit... Take part in a wildlife monitoring and assessment project in a malaria-free Big 5 game reserve in South Africa's wild and beautiful Eastern Cape. While staying in the game reserve you'll work on many aspects of conservation management, including game monitoring, alien plant management, boma building, seaside ecology, and photography. In your free time you can explore the lands and the oceans of this beautiful area Programme Highlights Join conservation efforts on a malaria-free, "Big 5" nature reserve. Your hands-on experience will include everything from the rugged to the social. You’ll assist with the identification of animals, game and flora monitoring, caring for elephants and lions in the sanctuary and poaching prevention. You will also need to pitch in and do general maintenance and community work such as child care and teaching. And, last but not least, you will occasionally assist with the tourism aspect of the projects and act as host and waiter to the lodge’s guests. Where Will I Live ?
