Full training as part of an in-country induction is provided on arrival. A taste of what’s ahead on the four week expedition With the rich biodiversity and abundant wildlife of its rainforests, Sabah offers ample opportunities to help preserve the local habitat or make it more accessible working alongside resident scientists and rangers. You could take part in research projects around the highly protected and world renowned Danum Valley, contribute to preparatory work for a hanging suspension bridge or build a trail for scientists in Imbak Canyon to help preserve its pristine virgin jungle. You’ll be living and working alongside villagers in Sabah’s remote communities, gaining a unique insight into the lives of the indigenous people, establishing life long friendships and making a lasting contribution.
