 Real Sport Experience’s Scuba Diving Academy in Australia equips you with not only the skills to pursue a career in the dive industry, but also with a wide number of life skills that would compliment any other career paths you may choose, including self-confidence under pressure and public speaking. The Dive Course This programme is designed to take you from beginners’ level to Divemaster in 10 weeks of training. The overall structure is less intense than other courses, to allow you to gain enough dive experience, while also enjoying the laid-back environment of Byron Bay. If you are already qualified to Open Water or Advanced Open Water level, then it is possible to start from your point of qualification. We can also offer courses up to Rescue Diver, if you do not wish to complete the Divemaster course. Please contact a Travel Adviser for start dates and costs. You will reach the level of Divemaster through structured instruction in the swimming pool, open water, and the classroom. To achieve Divemaster status, you need to complete the following: - PADI Open Water
- Advanced Open Water
- Emergency First Response
- Rescue Diver Course
- Divemaster Certification
Your qualification status will be recognised worldwide, with PADI considered to be the main international diving standard. As a result, you will be able to work in dive centres and anywhere else where a Divemaster qualification is applicable. Location Byron Bay, Australia Accommodation and Meals Accommodation is included in a hostel-style lodge at the dive centre. For the first two weeks you will stay in an 8-bed Dorm room and then move into 4-bed dorms after that. It is run by the dive centre and accommodates the scuba academy students only. Meals are not included in the programme.
