The Programme

This programme will take you to some of Indonesia’s remotest places. This programme will give you the chance to leave the western world behind and experience an adventure with an open mind and flexible attitude.

For the duration of the programme you will be escorted by experienced staff and led by a local experienced guide team in every destination.

This adventure includes the following activities:

  • Camping and jungle trek
  • Jungle training and survival skills
  • See cultural performances
  • Help out an Indonesian community
  • Visit the spectacular beach in Pelabuhan Ratu
  • Rafting
  • Scenic boat trip and orangutan tour
  • Explore traditional Indonseian villages

Located on the stunning islands of Java and Borneo, Indonesia.

Accommodation and Meals

Accommodation is included for the duration of the programme. Accommodation varies along the way from hostels, lodges, long houses and tents. During the programme you may also stay overnight out in the forest, sleeping in hammocks under tarpaulin or in temporary huts (pondok).

You will need to be prepared to go ‘back to basics’, as the accommodation is very basic and there is no conventional sanitation, electric lighting, telephone, or email connections. Washing takes place communally in places, usually on a jetty, by the river.

Meals will largely consist of fresh, healthy Indonesian food, which will be as varied as is possible in the remote locations that you will be staying in.
