	This placement would suit... This placement is ideal for universty, post-university and careergap volunteers. Couples are welcome and receive a 10% discount (this also applies to friends travelling together). Approximately 50% of our volunteers are non-UK based, with a large number of volunteers from North America, Europe and Australia. Our volunteers have a good level of general education and are enthusiastic, culturally aware, adaptable and highly motivated. Lying on the equator, Kenya is a great place to spend time in. Its diverse geography results in a range of natural habitats, while its history of migration and conquests has brought about a colourful ethnic mix. The climate in the region where we work is very pleasant, without extremes of heat. Volunteers teach in a secondary school in the Bomet region. This is the Maasai Mara region and known for its beautiful countryside. As the school is a secondary school, classes are taught in English and volunteers can teach a variety of subjects. This could include English, maths, history, science, sports and music depending on volunteers' qualifications and needs of the school; it is even possible to help the students with some computer skills.
