This placement would suit... potential teachers interested in teaching English as a foreign language to a variety of the Nepalese students: in schools, to monks, in orphanages' quite an experience.

Volunteer in Nepal and discover the roof of the world! Nepal is desperately poor and any help you can give will be incredibly appreciated and worthwhile. You really will make a difference to their lives. There are a variety of projects to choose from including teaching in schools, teaching in a monastery, learn Buddhism, teach at an orphanage and medical projects.

You should consider this Nepal volunteer programme if you are interested in having a real cultural experience of Nepal and wish to work as a teaching English assistant in different Nepali villages.
