There are a variety of projects to choose from including teaching in schools, teaching in a monastery, learn Buddhism, teach at an orphanage and medical projects. You should consider this Nepal volunteer programme if you are interested in having a real cultural experience of Nepal and wish to work as a teaching English assistant in different Nepali villages. Fun Activities - Included in the cost of the programme is a 2-day visit to Chitwan National Park. You can ride an elephant and observe the magnificent local Rhinoceros and Royal Bengal Tigers. You will visit a baby elephant centre, a local village, go on adventurous jungle walk and even learn the local dance! We’ll also show you around the main sights in the capital – Kathmandu. We can also help you arrange extra activities such as trekking, rafting and jungle safaris. Accommodation You will stay with a friendly local family in the village where you teach. A home-stay is a unique opportunity to experience the real Nepal, become part of the family and really tap into the local way of life.
